“In the footsteps…” is a specially tailored tour in order to be at the exact same places where your relative was during the battle of Normandy and give you a better understanding of his war experience. With the informations you have and my researches, we can personalize a true and unique experience.
Since 2010, i helped many families to have more details about a relative who fought in Normandy in 1944. Thanks to my university courses in History and Archaeolgy and my experience, i’m able to discover more details about his service through the military files, the mission report, and maps.
Nota bene :
Sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly your relative was. Several units are not well documented, or the military files were lost during a fire at the National Personnal Records Center (NPRC). On July 12, 1973, the fire destroyed approximately 16-18 million Official Military Personnel Files.
